Training, qualifications & experience
I am experienced in working with a range of psychological/emotional difficulties such as social anxiety, generalised anxiety, disordered eating, trauma, health anxiety, OCD, low-self esteem, perfectionism, stress and depression, amongst others. I have a background in working with alcohol/drug abuse, insomnia and adjustment to long term health conditions. I am also an experienced supervisor of psychologists, psychotherapists, CBT therapists and trainees. I am experienced in delivering CBT, CFT, Insomnia and stress management groups and find my group work to be a very rewarding experience.
I currently work part-time for the NHS in a Primary Care Psychology service in which I have gained extensive experience of working with the above mentioned psychological difficulties. I also work part time for a London based university with a student population offering one to one and group work for anxiety, depression and stress management. My previous experience also includes working as an associate lecturer teaching CBT for another London based university.
If you are interested in speaking to me about your current difficulties then the best way to make initial contact is through email. We can then set up a time to arrange a telephone conversation in which I can tell you more about what my sessions entail and answer any further questions that you may have.
