Why I became a counsellor
If you want a non judgmental , compassionate , approachable , professional counsellor then that's me
every one at some point in their life including myself has gone through an emotional time in their life where feel they need someone to help them through their problems, problems that have led to depression or anxiety , this is why I trained as a counsellor to help others through hard times , I've worked for women's aid and now I volunteer at cruse because counselling and the relationship between client and counsellor can help people through difficult times , achieve personal goals and help the client understand themselves , their behaviour and move on in life .
Prices discount is available for students and people in receipt of benefits, all Financial situations taken into account. Normal rates are £35

My thoughts on counselling
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor I offer one to one counselling sessions, I believe that therapy needs to be as individual as he client and needs to be tailored to their personal needs to obtain the best counsellor, client relationships and achieve any goals the client may have. Therefore as a integrated counsellor I believe that not just one approach can treat clients needs and situations.
Each person needs to be considered as a whole and counselling techniques must be tailored to their individual needs and personal circumstances.
The way I work and why
Integrative counselling maintains the idea that there are many ways in which human psychology can be explored and understood - no one theory holds the answer. All theories are considered to have value, even if their foundational principles contradict each other - hence the need to integrate them.
The integrative approach also refers to the infusion of a person's personality and needs - integrating the affective, behavioural, cognitive, and physiological systems within one person, as well as addressing social and spiritual aspects. Essentially, integrative counsellors are not only concerned with what works, but why it works - tailoring therapy to their clients and not the client to the therapy. I'm comfortable using CBT and solution focused therapy.
sessions how they are formed and client base
I offer 50 minute session either on a short term basis of six sessions or long term depending on the needs of the client and together we will evaluate as therapy goes along how the sessions are going, I'm able to offer counselling for individuals, young people etc at my home office.
