As a Gestalt therapeutic counsellor I work with clients to explore their feelings, emotions and thoughts in a confidential, non-judgemental, supportive and open environment.
We can all become stuck and feel overwhelmed with what we are experiencing. Our life circumstances might change and leave us feeling unable to understand and cope. Having the space to explore what is happening for you and what feelings, emotions and thoughts you are experiencing, can help you to better understand yourself and find a way to move forward.
I am interested in hearing your perspective and experiences to better understand what you are feeling and thinking. We can work together to discover what is making you feel the way you do and explore any patterns of behaviour that might emerge.
Gestalt focuses on the here and now, how you are feeling in the current moment as you sit with me. As well as discussing the past, we will explore what you feel now as you tell me about the past. I work creatively and focus on the body when working with clients to help us both understand and become more aware of what is happening for you.
Therapy can be a safe space if you are experiencing difficulty or distress. A space where you can feel heard in a confidential, non-judgemental, supportive and open environment. It can help to have a place for yourself to explore your feelings, thoughts and emotions. A place to better understand yourself and discuss how you are managing and coping with what is happening to you.
You might have a particular problem or issue that is impacting you or do not feel satisfied with life. You might feel overwhelmed, unable to cope, distressed or in despair. Problems can impact other parts of our lives including relationships, family or work and can even have a physical impact too.
