Profile
Any telephone queries on 23 May, please call again. A now resolved phone problem. Many thanks.
I know from my own experience how important it is to find a therapist that feels comfortable, so our first session would be an informal, no obligation meeting to ensure that we can work together to ease whatever difficulties you bring. I am a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist, BACP registered. I offer a confidential and non-judgemental place where it is possible to talk through and explore whatever may be feeling difficult for you at this time in your life.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I received my post-graduate Diploma and MA in Counselling from the University of East Anglia. As well as working privately, I work with clients at a national mental health charity, and with students in higher education. I had a varied working career before becoming a psychotherapist/counsellor - all valuable experience!
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues - depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, isolation, addiction, sex addiction, food and eating disorders, self-harm, physical and sexual abuse, domestic and family difficulties.
Therapies Offered
- Humanistic Therapies - Person-Centred Counselling
Fees
Initial session £15, following sessions £35.
Further Information
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues - depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, isolation, addiction, sex addiction, food and eating disorders, self-harm, physical and sexual abuse, domestic and family difficulties - yet essentially find that each of us brings a unique set of issues or difficulties when in need of support.
In our initial session we can begin to explore these, and get to know each other. I will do my best to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and knowing how difficult it can be to talk about very personal things, work to make this as comfortable for you as possible.
I work in a room in central Norwich with full disability access.
