My name is Sharon, I am an experienced Adult Trauma Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.

My private practice is a safe private space where you can speak about anything that is holding you in a place that doesn’t suit you here and now. I can help you resolve difficulties, such as anxiety, anger, self-harm or panic attacks and flash backs (which may have been around from childhood bullying, emotional or physical abuse and could have resulted in complex trauma or PTSD). Also offered are my 6hr Anxiety and Anger Management Courses, which have already helped thousands of people.

Being an registered Accredited Member of BACP (MBACP Accred)
I hold my Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision, Psychotherapeutic Integrative Counselling (CPCAB Level 5), Diploma Integrative Counselling, Studies and Skills (CPCAB Level, 2, 3 and 4).
Specialising in trauma work, I've practiced at Helen Rollason Cancer Charity in Chelmsford and Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse covering North Essex. Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

After which an initial telephone assessment with me is £20, this is your opportunity to meet with me and decide if I am the right counsellor for you, it is incredibly important that you feel comfortable and unjudged, as our therapeutic relationship needs to be on equal terms for your well-being.
I offer 1-2-1 short term work (6 sessions) or long term work dependant on your needs, priced @ £39 per session or if you chose to book and pre-pay a block of 6 sessions a reduced rate of £195 is offered.
6hr Anger Management Courses - pricing starting @ just £195 dependant on your requirements.
Anxiety Courses run for 6 sessions costing just £195.
Clinical Supervision prices start at £39.
