Profile
Counselling will provide you the space to talk in confidence and I provide a non-judgemental and safe environment. This will give you the opportunity to talk and to be listened to by someone who is not involved in your life and I will provide you with a friendly, supportive, warm and understanding environment that you need to enable you to get through your troubled time.
I have counselling experience of working in private practice and in a GP surgery. I have worked within the NHS for over 30 years caring and working with clients suffering from various illnesses and traumas both in hospital and home and supporting their families. Whilst working in a GP surgery I have supported and helped people who have been suffering with a wide range of issues including, anxiety, anger management, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship problems, addictions and living with chronic illnesses. I can help you to explore and understand how you feel and then together, with your self-awareness can work on the changes identified to help you change your thoughts and behaviours and so improving your life.
I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psycotherapy and my work is supervised and I continually develop myself professionally. I work very closely alongside two other counsellors which enables me to keep up to date with professional issues.
Please visit my website and contact me via email or telephone if you have any queries that I can help you with.
