About me

I have a BA (HONS) in Counselling, previously, I was a registered general nurse and worked in the NHS. I offer an integrative approach to therapy, including psychodynamic, CBT and Trauma Therapy.

Counselling is a form of talking therapy which allows space to discuss concerns and difficulties in a safe, confidential nonjudgemental environment. It is a process where through the exploration of emotions, thoughts and behaviours, change can occur.Whether the difficulties have their roots in the past or stem from an event in the present; counselling can offer you a supportive setting, where together we can explore your experiences, enabling you to develop a new personal understanding about yourself. Many people find this new insight empowers them to make positive changes

I am a member of the BACP (Registered and Accredited) and abide by it's ethical framework.  I am also a member of the UK Psychological Trauma Society and European Society for Traumatic Stress studies.

I am a qualified Supervisor and have obtained a Diploma in Clinical Supervision from CPPD. I work integratively as a supervisor. I supervise therapists who work with individuals. I also supervise students at a reduced rate.
