We all experience times in our life when we’re faced with confusion, uncertainty, trauma, worry or sadness. These can have a huge impact on our emotional-wellbeing. Talking to a trained counsellor can make all the difference. Counselling offers you a safe, confidential space to talk about your life, and anything that may be uncomfortable, painful or confusing. My approach is supportive, and can empower you to reach greater understanding, moving forwards in a way that’s right for you.
I’m a fully qualified counsellor offering a friendly, confidential and professional counselling service to individuals. My aim is to provide a non-judgmental, supportive and confidential space in which you can feel accepted and understood.
I work from my home, situated in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Burton. Burton is easily accessible from Chippenham and Yate, and within 2-miles of the M4 junction 18. You can park right outside the house and disabled access can also be arranged.
Each therapy session will last for 50-minutes and will take place in my dedicated private therapy room. The room is warm and comfortable with soft chairs in which you can relax.
I offer a free 30-minute initial assessment, when I will ask you a few questions and gain an understanding of what you would like to get from counselling. We’ll work at your pace, and I welcome any questions you may also have about counselling and how it might benefit you. At the end of the session we can arrange to meet again, or you may feel that you need some time to decide whether counselling is for you or if I am the right person for you. There is no pressure for you to decide immediately. If you choose to continue, sessions are usually scheduled on a weekly basis.
