About me

I am a qualified Child and Adult Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 25 years experience of working with Mental Health. I am very passionate about CBT and the changes it can make to peoples lives. Age is not a barrier as I work with 6 to 100 year olds!

Initially I trained as a Mental Health Nurse and after a number of years working in the acute setting starting in a therapeutic day unit delivering group and individual CBT based therapy. I then worked for 10 years with Cumbia Police providing therapy within the Occupational Health Department. It was there I trained as a CBT therapist. I have since worked at a Further Education College as a Mental Health Facilitator and went on to train in CBT for Children and Young People. I also work for the charity Anxiety UK. I thoroughly love working with people and feel honoured to be working alongside some very brave and trusting individuals.

I will work with any of the following:
Anxiety, depression, post natal depression, self esteem, addictions, phobias, eating disorders, bereavement, relationships, occupational/work related issues, stress, trauma, chronic pain, sleep problems and any other difficulty that is stopping you from enjoying life.
