I am an experienced, qualified BACP registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I have worked with many individuals over the years using both individual and couples counselling, helping them to achieve fulfilling lives and relationships, and find solutions that work for them. We can work together on short or long term goals, and we will work at your pace.
Perhaps you have been thinking lately that there are things you have always said you would deal with, but never got around to and you would like to function more effectively in your day to day life. Perhaps your relationships aren't as good as you'd like them to be, and you'd like a place to reflect and explore your thoughts and feelings - uncover new ways of thinking and coping so that you can communicate more effectively, and live a more fulfilling life.
Or maybe it's past traumas, events, or experiences that you need to resolve. Ineffective patterns in your life which always take you where you don't want to go - maybe you're concerned you're suffering from depression, low self esteem, or anxiety that is interfering with your relationships, work or home life and you feel is holding you back.
One of the most important predictors of success in counselling is the quality of the relationship between counsellor and client. Your counsellor should be someone with whom you feel comfortable and whom you trust. Your first introductory session with me is an opportunity to ask me any questions you might have about me, and for me to explain how we might work together and what I can offer you, with no obligations.
