About me

Thank you for taking time out to view my profile.

I am wondering if you are at a difficult point in your life. Are you feeling stuck, lost or confused.

Counselling can provide a space for you to explore your experiences, to gain understanding and clarity. A space to work together through life's difficulties, perhaps to move towards acceptance, manage personal challenges and together figure out a way to move forward.

I am able to offer you a confidential and non-judgemental space, to explore your experiences and to work together through challenges by offering a flexible approach that matches your need.

I am an experienced registered counsellor, coach and supervisor. I have a background in Psychology and I have considerable experience of working within an educational setting, providing personalised support to those attending university as well as supporting young people. Further experience also involves working with and providing personal therapy to students training to be a counsellor. I also have worked within the NHS, supporting members of staff across all levels with a variety of issues. These include stress management, anxiety, loss, change, relationship issues and difficulties at home or within the work place.

I am able to provide support to both individuals and EAPs.

What are you in balance with and what are you out of balance with? Are you experiencing change? Do you feel at a cross roads and perhaps have decisions to make or pondering career choices?  What does the next step look like? Perhaps coaching might be useful to explore these questions and could be used for personal development or difficulties at work/home. Coaching has allowed me to work with individuals to explore options surrounding their future and to change direction or move forward, to increase self-esteem and confidence and harnessing assertiveness skills.

I am able to offer supervision and have experience of working with and supporting trainee counsellors and qualified counsellors with differing levels of experience. I can offer a supportive person-centred, integrative approach to suit individualist need.

I regularly attend my own supervision, I am a member of the BACP and appear on the BACP register.

I can offer honesty, space, time, warmth, support and challenge.

I am passionate about supporting others to facilitate positive growth and change and provide counselling, coaching and supervision in a comfortable, confidential setting within my own home.

Located conveniently for those living within Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Leek and Staffordshire Moorlands.
