Most people find themselves in crisis at some point in their lives. Counselling and Psychotherapy can help.
Therapy can help with those issues that are known to us such as the death of a loved one, the loss of a job or addiction issues. It can also help with issues that are less apparent, persistent relationship problems, feelings of depression, anger or that nagging feeling that shouts 'all is not well'.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from a variety of different theoretical models to find the methods of working that best suit you and your needs.
As well as using the usual talking therapy, which is normally where the client talks to therapist and the therapist listens offering insight, I also use more creative tools such as working with dreams, guided visualisations and drawings, to help us explore the issues together.
I offer both short and longer term therapy, depending on what you wish to gain from the therapy experience, in a safe, confidential and heart centered environment.
I have a wide range of experience, working with many different types of individuals and couples with a variety of different problems, both within private practice and within the NHS. I have a special interest in working with psychosexual and relationship issues.
I am UKCP accredited and a member of COSRT. I abide by both the UKCP and COSRT code of ethics.
Please do contact me if you would like to have a chat about how we could work together.
With Best Wishes
