Sara N Round Dipl.Couns.MNCS Accredited
My name is Sara.
I believe, at this stage, there are two questions.
Firstly, 'Do you, or does someone you know need some support during a challenging time in their lives?'
As you are reading this the conclusion is probably yes. If so then next question is 'Do you think that I can help?'
To answer that you need to know a little about me, so here goes...
Having qualified in 2015 I gained Accredited Membership with the National Counselling Society in 2016 and have continued my own learning through CPD courses post qualification. I have had over twenty years experience working with children and young adults, and it was this which led to my decision in 2012 to retrain.
Since then my clients have ranged from 14 years to 80 years of age, and have come with a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression and abuse to mention just a few.
I am an intergrative counsellor with the Person Centred model being at the core of my approach. I offer 1:2:1, couples and family therapy and work with a wide range of presenting difficulties (further details below). I either work from a Holistic Centre in Bromsgrove or Stourbridge, from my home or yours if appropriate and
I appreciate that the first steps to seeking help can appear daunting. Because of this I offer a free initial telephone consultation.
My aim is to see your world as you do, view your experiences as you do and to work with you to seek the changes which will improve the way you currenlty feel. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, should be able to bring to the session what you need, be able to direct the session towards what will help you. I will provide a safe holding space where you are free to explore without judgement and be empathically heard.
I will happily answer any questions which you may have and provide further details over the phone, so please feel able to leave me a confidential answerphone message and a convenient time to return your call.

Everybody faces challenges, problems and fears during their lives. Most of the time we manage these alone.
Occasionally our usual coping methods don't work and we find ourselves struggling. Sometimes we need somebody to talk to, somebody who will listen and somewhere we can talk freely about our thoughts and feelings, explore opportunities for change in order to get back on track.
At the heart of successful counselling is the relationship between you and me. My aim is to provide a safe, confidential place where you are free to discuss your difficulties
