Sara Deal: BA (HONS) MBACP
There are many situations that we may experience in life that may lead to us feeling unable to cope. These feelings can be overwhelming and may lead to the development of issues that can affect your mental well-being. That's where counselling can really help by providing a safe haven to explore issues. This exploration may then prove useful when navigating your way through life's circumstances. I am a fully insured counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to the BACP's code of conduct and their ethical framework. I also attend regular supervision sessions to ensure the counselling I provide remains within their guidelines and is the highest standard of counselling that I can provide.
As an humanistic, person-centred counsellor, I consider myself to be a kind, empathic and non-judgemental person. I place you, the client, at the heart of the counselling process and believe that you are the expert on your own life. I believe that each of us has the ability to grow and by using the skills I have acquired, I can assist you in your investigation and understanding of yourself which may lead to a better understanding of your life circumstances so that you may indeed grow as person.
My working hours are Monday to Friday.
