About me

I work with people who are experiencing difficulties in life, such as stress, anxiety, or a difficulty in coping with change. Maybe, you are finding it difficult to pinpoint the problem, therefore making the solution impossible to find. Taking the first step by seeking help can be difficult, but accepting the need for help can be a very positive move forward in itself.

The Counselling I offer provides you with the time and space to give voice to your worries and problems, helping you to understand your situation and to identify any changes you would like to make.

I offer a traditional listening counselling service for individuals, couples, or for families. I use my home or for those who find the outdoors therapeutic we can meet outside, either walking or sitting.

In your first Counselling session we will discuss your expectations, goals and professional boundaries.
We will look at where you want to be and how we can work together to achieve, and maintain the changes you would like to make.

Further information

My initial Counselling training was Humanistic / Person Centered. Through my experience as a Counsellor and the additional training I have completed, I now understand the value and benefit of using other counselling approaches to meet clients needs. For example using CBT techniques to assist with an addiction can be hugely beneficial when creating strategies and goals.

I have worked in a variety of settings, including Private Practice, agencies and organisations. Some of the organisations include: Women's Aid, Hospice, Drug and Alcohol Counselling Service, Schools and Colleges, Mental Health Charity and Private Practice

I am contactable by email or mobile, please leave a voice mail if I am unable to answer. I will endeavour to respond to your request within one working day.

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and am bound by their Ethical Framework.

I have a clear DBS check and am fully insured
