I am a qualified Counsellor and CBT Therapist. I offer a range of talking therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Manchester M3,(Deansgate) and Macclesfield .
I am also a qualified Life Coach and Personal Development Trainer. I also offer Cognitive Behavioural Coaching. I am an NLP practitioner.
I work in a number of different ways - one to one Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and one to one Life Coaching as well as fun and information packed workshops.
Often a combination of Counselling/CBT, and coaching is an effective way forward.
By using any one or a combination of all three you could begin to live the life you want.
Counselling offers a safe place to get to know yourself a little bit better.
It is a place where you will not be judged, given advice or told what to do.
You will be given time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings and get some balance back into your life.
If life is feeling a bit of a struggle - try to remember - it was never meant to be difficult. Counselling may help you find the perspective you need, because every minute spent angry is sixty seconds of happiness wasted.

CONFIDENCE FOR LIFE WORKSHOP
On this 1 day programme we will use visualisations, affirmations, music and creative exercises to begin to help you reconnect with your authentic, real self. You will learn how to fill your life with colour, creativity, success and joy. You will leave with a new self belief and will have taken your first step to a new exciting future.
I do know how difficult it may be to attend a workshop like this when you may be feeling nervous or apprehensive about what you may experience. I promise you these workshops are kept to small numbers (usually about 6- 8 people) in a friendly and informal atmosphere - squishy sofas, calm environment.
Perhaps you are the person hiding at the back of the room and a small group sends you into panic and thought of being pounced on by an over enthusiastic trainer is the last thing you need! Here's my personal promise - you will not be made to feel uncomfortable and will not be asked to speak in front of the whole group, unless of course you choose to do so and then you will be supported and encouraged all the way.

I have been working in private practice for 18 years. I work in Macclesfield, and Manchester City Centre M3 . My practice is one to one counselling with clients who are self referred or GP referred. I also see clients who are referred by organisations and solicitors.
I also do work for EAP providers and a trauma care provider.
I am trained in Critical Incident Debriefing and use this as part of my practice, finding it useful for some clients who have been involved in traumatic road accidents etc.

I have received my own personal therapy and I know how hard it can be to turn up for that first appointment. I will try to make our first appointment as comfortable as I can for you.
If you feel you would like to make changes to your life or how you respond to situations, counselling may be able to help. We are all different, as you know, I offer a range of ways of working so that you can get the most out of your sessions.
We will work at a pace which is comfortable for you. We will open the door on those dark places but if you don't want to go in right now, that's ok. We can always take a look another time.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy more commonly called CBT is growing in popularity. Research has shown that CBT is effective in a wide range of problems including anxiety, panic attacks and depression.
CBT focuses on the way you think and act in order to help you overcome negative and unhelpful thinking and ways of behaving.
