About me

In our daily lives there can be times that we find we have problems that are difficult to endure and even harder to share. I offer appropriate individual therapies aimed at your own personal needs in a confidential and safe environment, where we can work together with respect and the time needed for you to explore your own emotions and work towards a positive outcome.


I work as an Integrative Counsellor and Supervisor with clinics in Yeovil and Taunton.
My therapies include:

Behavioural Couple Therapy (BCT)
Person Centred Therapy (PCT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET)
Mindfulness

Personal, Family and Couple relationship issues.
I work with relaxation exercises and breathing techniques to help with anxiety, stress and panic disorders.

I also work with veterans and the ministry of defence.

Individual time for you to address General Anxiety Disorders, low self esteem, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, feeling sad, phobias and depression. Family concerns and relationships with family or children. Concerns around addiction and relationship issues that over time may have become problematic.
Trauma, bereavement, loss or feelings of isolation can become very overpowering and hard to deal with.
Decision making and moving on.
Person Centred Therapy works alongside the client giving them time to explore their own thoughts and feelings.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy works collaboratively with the client whilst they explore their own negative thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns working with Generalised anxiety disorder and Depression and work related stress.
During the free initial telephone consultation we will be able to discuss and safely explore together any worries and concerns that you may have, this will give you time to ask any questions about counselling and what it means to you.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I offer a free initial telephone consultation which allows us to chat and gives you the opportunity to bring any queries about counselling before you make a decision. It is most important that you are comfortable with your counsellor.

Counselling :

Individual Counselling                        £50.00 per session                
Couple Counselling                             £75.00 per session


EAP (Employee Support Services) and corporate work packages are also available please call to discuss contract and prices.

Supervision offers a safe space to bring and explore any concerns or issues that you may have from both your personal and client work issues whilst working or training therapeutically and ethically with clients, thus giving the opportunity to be supported whilst at the same time gaining clarity for the benefit of yourself and the people you work with. Supervision also offers new ideas and plans for Continued Personal Development.

I offer a free initial consultation to discuss any questions or concerns that you may have and hear what your expectations of supervision may be.
