Samantha Kerley, Pg dip (counselling & psychotherapy) MBACP Registered
Taking the first steps into counselling and finding the right counsellor may seem a daunting process. I am here to listen and provide a safe and confidential environment where you can start to make sense of what is difficult for you. I am an experienced Person-centred counsellor offering a supportive, informal counselling setting for times in life when help and support is required. My therapeutic work adopts a genuine, non-judgemental and empathic manner.
I developed an interest in counselling many years ago after having gone through my own therapy during a difficult time in my life. I know the benefits that person centred counselling can provide. I feel passionately about counselling and how transforming it can be. It has helped me both to work through individual issues and to improve the quality of my relationships with others.
I have experience in working with people coming from a wide variety of backgrounds, covering areas such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement, work-related stress, separation and divorce.
If due to mobility issues or other health reasons you are unable to access counselling services I can arrange to visit you in your own home, details of this service can be discussed further with myself.
