About me

I am a qualified Therapist with almost 20 years experience. I work in a comfortable office adjacent to my home in Rogate near Petersfield.

I also offer a mobile service where I work with you in your own home.

Many of us can benefit, at difficult times in our lives, from having the space to talk to someone who listens without judging. Sharing an emotional difficulty in a safe and secure environment can bring real relief.

I work in line with the principles of the person centred approach this means that I will accept you as the unique individual that you are, and have absolute faith in your ability to grow and reach your potential.
All work will be led by your needs, you will not be expected to move faster than you feel safe to, or in any direction you have not chosen for yourself.

I aim to build relationships with clients that are  based upon mutual respect, honesty and trust.

I engage with ongoing personal and professional development which enables me to keep up to date with new developments, and have a deeper understanding of clients needs.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and work in line with their code of conduct.

I have been CRB checked and hold an enhanced CRB certificate.
I am fully insured.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
