I work with Adults, Young People and Children. My background is in the Arts, Education and Play.
I am a registered and accredited member of British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and offer a warm, confidential, non judgmental space to explore at your own pace, challenges and problems that may be troubling you.
As an integrative counsellor, I use many different approaches and believe strongly in the therapeutic benefits of art materials i.e. clay and paint and these are always available to use in my practice.
With my younger clients I particularly use play materials i.e. sand tray, dolls house, paint, clay and musical instruments to help in the therapeutic work.
I have worked for many years as a therapist in primary and secondary schools with organisations such as the children's charity Place2Be and the Young Concern Trust.
I have considerable experience in working with survivors of abuse as a 1-1 therapist and also as a co-facilitator in group work including; drama, self esteem and confidence building workshops.
Please contact me by phone or email. I will then address any questions you have and you could tell me a little about yourself. If you choose to see me, we could arrange an initial meeting to see whether we feel we could work well together, no obligation to continue if you decide not to.
