Dr. Saira Gracie Razzaq Registered Psychologist and Psychotherapist (UKCP, BPS)
8 Waldemar Road
07802 267 200
I am a Registered Psychologist (BPS, HCPS) and an Accredited Psychotherapist (UKCP) and I provide private therapy for a wide range of emotional concerns and problems. I have been a practicing psychologist for twenty years and I also act as the Director of Psychology and Well-being Services in the NHS where I have gained considerable experience in providing therapy for a wide range of client groups.
There are times in most of our lives where we might benefit from a helping hand to meet life’s challenges and find an alternative way of seeing things. Therapy aims to provide this and this can be both a practical and creative process, as the underlying principle is to help you improve your sense of wellbeing, alleviate your distress, resolve your concerns, increase your ability to solve problems and make decisions for yourself.
This is what I do to support you. I will invite you to express your concerns in an informal and relaxed setting and share what might be happening in your life that brings you to therapy. I offer a space that is non judgmental, open to exploration and challenge as we make better sense of your experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Part of this process may involve helping you discover meanings, recognise patterns, and explore possibilities. The intention is support you develop more clarity and compassion for yourself. Therapy can provide a way of seeing yourself and others in your life with greater clarity that can enable choice and the capacity to better tolerate uncertainties. This evolves as you become more conscious of patterns of behaviour and your emotional responses. It may also contribute to you feeling more authentic, self aware and engaged in how you live your life.
I practice in Wimbledon, South West London at an accessible location. Appointments are available from Monday-Friday 8am-8pm.
