I feel it takes a lot of courage to reach out for help when you need it.
Life can be challenging and tough at times.
This is where counselling can help.
I provide a confidential, trustworthy and non-judgmental environment so that we may work together through your own personal issues and difficulties.
After our first contact, we would have an assessment session. This will enable both of us to discuss the issue at hand and whether we are able to work together as it is very important for you to feel at ease with your counsellor.
I started my experience in counselling visiting the elderly as well as detainees. I then joined a bereavement agency before setting up my private practice as well as working as a counsellor for the University of Kent.
All of the above have given me a lot of experience over a broad range of issues.
I trained on a BACP accredited course. This course included Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt models of counselling but I also use a wide range of tools from other therapies including CBT, NLP as well as Solution focused brief therapy as this enables us to use the most effective therapy for you.
I am bi-lingual in French.
I run my practice from 2 locations - The Wellness Centre in Canterbury and Minnis Bay, Birchington. Kent
