Taking the first steps into counselling are often the most daunting. I hope that after you have learnt more about who I am and how I work you will feel able to take the next steps into learning more about yourself and how counselling can help you.
Sometimes, at some point in our lives we get stuck or face deep challenges that can feel overwhelmingly out of our control; there is always a way out and counselling can help you to see things from a new perspective. I work alongside you to help you access your own resources and find a solution quickly, developing strategies to help you enhance relationships and live a more balanced life.
My honestly is my strength and I would be lying if I said counselling was easy. Counselling requires a commitment by you, just like going to the gym or eating healthy. Emotional needs can sometimes be overlooked when life is busy.
Counselling has been my profession since 2002. Working within a spectrum of settings from the YMCA to corporate business settings, I have developed skills that adapt to my clients needs. My approach to counselling is an alliance of genuine empathy and warmth providing clients with a safe space, which marries together my professional trainings (expertise) in: Psychodynamic - Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural -CBT, NLP, TFT, Mindfulness and Coaching. I am further committed to continually enhance my skills with an unwavering approach to ‘self development’. I offer a counselling service that is unique, professional and personalised.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your life whether internal or external or searching for a purpose or sense of belonging then counselling could help you find your answers.
