Sometimes we have difficulty accepting our lives as they are and it is these difficulties that I can help with. Whether you are a Businessman or woman or a full-time parent I can help you to focus on the things that are important and help you accept things as they are or change the things you want to.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified integrative therapeutic counsellor. I have over 20 years of experience working within services with vulnerable individuals including housing, offenders and Ex Service Personnel. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapists) and I work to their ethical guidelines.
I have completed training in dealing with PTSD, Trauma, Child Protection, Sleep hygiene, Mindfulness. Anxiety and Depression, Self Esteem among others and have lots of business experience in the public, private and housing sectors.
I have worked in Homeless Hostels, Colleges, Wellbeing Centres and charities. I have worked with Post Traumatic Stress, Trauma, Bereavement, Cultural Issues, Sexuality, Business problems, relationship issues and I have run groups and short term outcome focussed groups on Stress and Anxiety Management, Self Esteem, Mindfulness and discovering yourself through Art.

My fees are reasonable at £30 per 50 minute session. I allow reductions for those on means tested benefits and for some other circumstances.
I am happy to work via Skype and over the phone (there will be an additional charge for phone calls) and in certain cases via e-mail, please talk to me for further information if this is of interest to you.
I offer a free half hour consultation before you decide whether to use my services.
Unfortunately my premises are not yet adapted for disabled access.
If you are interested in having counselling, even if you do not use my services I am more than happy to discuss how a counsellor could help you and to advise you on where to start looking.
In addition I can run self help groups for issues such as low self esteem, stress and anxiety management, Mindfulness and others, these sessions will take place with a minimum of 6 people, please as if you are interested.
