Ruth Player, BSc(Hons), Dip Counselling, PG Cert Supervision. Registered MBACP
I hold a passionate belief in the Person Centred Approach and I offer Client Centred Therapy. This means that I will not direct you or hold any judgements about you or any issue you may wish to explore in counselling. I believe and it is my experience (personal and professional) that if a person can talk freely and openly without experiencing judgement and that you experience (my) unconditional empathic understanding then you will feel able to identify any changes you may wish to make in your life, come to an acceptance of yourself and your experiences and feel freer to be You. As a person centred counsellor it is my intention to walk alongside you and share in your experiences, whatever they may be. I am happy and comfortable to accompany you in your own journey and therefore I endeavour not to make suggestions or give advice. I firmly believe that each of us is our own best expert.
I work both as an individual counsellor with Young People and Adults and as a Counselling Supervisor.
