Hello, my name is Roz,
I am a fully qualified Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT)
I am a member of the British association of counsellors and psychotherapist, (BACP) which means l adhere to their code of ethics and conduct to protect my clients well being.
I have extensive experience with working with many mental health illness's, such as OCD, Bipolar, and Depression.
I also work with Bereavement, supporting through the painful and complex issues surrounding this uncertain, overwhelming and often life changing event; using empathy, understanding and experience of loss.
My work experience includes working with issues such as, anxiety, shame, low self esteem, confidence issues, guilt, anger, trauma, phobias, relationship issues, weight issues, smoking, panic attacks/disorders, stress, unhelpful thoughts, divorce, separation, family problems, generalised anxiety disorder, bullying, attachment, job loss and many other complex issues, which make our lives hard to cope with.
Working in a warm, safe, respectful and confidential environment, and tailoring each unique persons needs, we collaboratively find root causes, to challenge and change old patterns of belief, to more helpful ones, to facilitate and find the answers that can help lead to a more fulfilling and happier life.
I have studied and furthered my development skills to include, mindfulness, relaxation skills, stress management, Emotional freedom techniques, meditation skills and a more holistic approach to coping with life, when it can seem chaotic and too much to cope with by yourself.
I am passionate, genuine and approachable, in and about my work, l have confidence in my professional experiences, that talking, listening, and working together towards your goal, can be life changing and I'm here to help, should you wish, to take that journey with me.
