I am a UKCP registered Adult Individual psychotherapist and Couples Counsellor with over 10 years post qualifying experience. I believe that when we are truly listened to and feel understood, we begin a journey to self discovery and healing. My approach is warm, professional, and focussed on listening to you on many levels.
You may be considering counselling for the first time or there may be a recurring issue that you need to be resolved in order to live your life more fully. Whatever your distress , I am committed to providing a sensitive and confidential environment within which you can explore and resolve your difficulties.
I see my role as helping you to be integrated, to feel more whole, and to have a better sense of who you are, what you want out of life and how to attain it whether it is an individual matter to whether it has become obvious in your relationships.
Couples can benefit from sessions that deepen their understanding of their relationship dynamics, learn how to communicate through conflict, and develop their capacity to empathise with each other so both feel heard.
I enjoy working with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression and stress issues. I have specific training and experience in trauma and how it might impact your relationships in adult life and incorporate techniques such s EMDR, relationship skills, and mindfulness where relevant.
Registered with BUPA, Health Assured, Compsych, and Confidential Care
