Rory Callan MSc. Grad. Dip. Counselling MBACP

Profile

I am a fully qualified Person-centred counsellor who offers a safe, confidential, professional counselling service for individuals who may suffer from a variety of distressing psychological problems including depression, anxiety and unproductive anger.

I have worked therapeutically for a number of years in a busy medical practice and have ongoing experience of working with clients who have suffered loss through bereavement, ill health, unemployment and financial problems and many other issues.

Within the charity sector, I have experience of working with young adults who have suffered from abusive relationships and who have presented with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, addictions and substance misuse. Having been a volunteer with Age Concern Cheshire for many years, I have also gained a first hand insight into some of the issues that affect the elderly like loneliness, depression and loss of confidence.

I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
