About me

Hello & welcome.

I've been a therapist for 18 years and specialise in areas of ADDICTIONS and SEX & SEXUALITY. Most of my work is with client's struggling with problems of addiction - drink, drugs, food, gambling & sex. I'm the resident therapist and counselling coordinator at The Oak Recovery Hub - a residential treatment rehab in Ipswich where I work as part of the clinical treatment team.

This work spills over into my private practice where I also work with many LGBT clients also. That said, I have experience in all areas of counselling and no problem is either too small or too big! If something is bothering you and making you unhappy, I can probably help.

I offer long and short-term counselling to individuals and couples & as a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy I practice within the BACP professional guidelines.

I believe that counselling can be a highly creative, collaborative & healing experience and can help people move towards a happier & more fulfilled life - a life they really want for themselves!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions or concerns. No matter the size or complexity of your problem you will be treated with respect and understanding.

I'm also a clinical supervisor which means I monitor and guide the work of other therapists too.

I offer sessions in Harley Street, London, and in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Please see my website for additional information - www.roncopseycounselling.com - and on Facebook - Suffolk Counsellor Ron Copsey.
