About me

Dr Robin Gutteridge Chartered Psychologist, HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist, BACP accredited, Sexual and Relationship Therapist; Clinical Supervisor.

An experienced, well qualified counselling psychologist, therapist and clinical supervisor . I also offer therapy and supervision ‘on line’ [by email and secure video call.] I offer relationships counselling and psychosexual therapy to individuals and couples of any age, culture, gender and sexual orientation, including transgender, intersex and asexual people. I am experienced in working with older adults and people managing the effects of disability, long term health conditions and previous sexual, physical or emotional trauma.

I offer private and confidential support without judgement, to support your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and sexual wellbeing. It isn’t always easy to ask for help but acknowledging the need can be the biggest step forward. If you’re struggling with a past or present problem, with a personal or work relationship, or are feeling stuck, anxious or overwhelmed, I will do my utmost to help you step back from the situation and explore ways to make things more manageable. I won’t tell you what to do; instead, we work together to understand your difficulties and explore possibilities for changing how you deal with this and similar situations in the future. By the end of our work, I aim for you to feel clearer and more confident about managing situations that have been hard to manage.

I provide supervision for counsellors, therapists and staff working in health, social care and the emergency services. This can be arranged in my rooms, at your workplace, or on line.
