Robert Lee MBACP - Counselling Changes Lives
Hello my name is Robert Lee from Counselling Changes Lives.
Would you like to shine and reach your full potential?
Suffering from Depression or Anxiety?
I believe you are the sunshine of your life but sometimes life’s challenges prevent us from being just that. It is difficult to shine, love ourselves, when we feel depressed or suffer from so much anxiety that it stops us from functioning fully. You might feel like it is a continual battle to face each day. Sadly, your depression or anxiety may also be affecting the quality of your relationship with your partner, family or friends even work could be a challenge to face daily.
Making the first move - part of in the healing process
Check out my website counsellingchangeslives.org if you think I can support you simply get in touch. Sometimes making the first move is always the most difficult but it is also the first sign of your autonomy and willingness to look after your needs.
Counselling is a talking therapy!
I offer through a compassionate and therapeutic relationship the freedom to talk about and explore any aspect or aspects of your life without the fear of judgement, all in a safe and confidential environment where you can be you! If you would like to know more about counselling, check out the video where a client of mine talks about her counselling experience. View at: counsellingchangeslives.org
Depression - that feeling of despair
Depression is not something minor or trivial. It is a real illness with symptoms. With depression, you might have feelings of hopelessness, a state of unhappiness or simply want to shut yourself off from the rest of the world. You might be experiencing an overwhelming sadness which doesn’t go away. Through counselling I can help share that burden so it becomes a lesser weight on your shoulders. I can also support you to make sense of your world. This greater understanding of yourself might just give you that insight enabling you to cope with your current state of depression.
Anxiety - feelings of unease and worry
Are your feelings of anxiety affecting your daily life? When we suffer from anxiety we have feelings of unease or worry which we cannot seem to control. Anxiety can result in panic attacks, overwhelming physical sensations which are difficult to manage. Of course, everyone from time to time suffers from anxiety however when anxiety impacts on our daily life even starts to consume it, we may feel unable to fully function.
Want a better insight into Counselling?
As mentioned above, I recently made a video with a client who wanted to give others a better insight into her counselling experience. It will also provide an idea of what to expect from counselling and me. You can watch it at: counsellingchangeslives.org

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified and BACP registered counsellor with qualifications from the University of Chichester in Humanistic Counselling.
I specialise in Person-Centred therapy although I also have a diploma in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).
Like many counsellors, I came to counselling later in life. I recognised that people were always at the forefront of my working life, having worked in people led industries. I am also the director and founder of a social enterprise and not for profit community interest company, UK 8020 CIC. Counselling Changes Lives is part of our community projects.
My counselling experience varies across all ages and has included working with young adults in education and community projects.
I acknowledge people as being unique and through their own creativity can find solutions and a greater understanding of themselves to make the choices to live to the full. This is something that has made a noticeable impact on me throughout my career. I am, as a counsellor simply, an enabler, facilitator and supporter of the choices that clients freely make to be the person they want to be.
Please do get in touch if you would like to make an investment in your own future well-being.
