About me

Hi there. My name is Richard. I've been working as a psychological coach since 2002 and as a UKCP registered psychotherapist since 2008. I have qualifications and training in Psychotherapy, NLP and shamanic spiritual healing / energy work.  I offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and businesses.

Like all psychotherapists I am committed to:

  • Honouring the trust you place in me
  • Respecting your right to choose for yourself
  • Promoting your well-being (I am professionally supervised)
  • Avoiding causing you harm (I am insured)
  • Treating you fairly
  • And practicing what I preach by understanding and caring for myself

Your choice of psychotherapist

Some of the reasons you may choose to work with me are:

Depth of change Speed of change
Complex symptoms are usually the result relatively simple root causes. My approach can work back through the generations to heal old traumas and repair family relationships. Talking about your problems is not always enough to change them. My approach is gently direct and I will coach you to face your fears, feel your emotions, and move through them quickly.
Empowering teamwork Energetic rapport
I don't see you as a victim. Your symptoms are indications that you have coped with past traumas. I will coach you to harness your core-rage and channel it in a healing direction. I am able to sense the energy in and around your body. I use this to pace my questions and draw your attention. If there are blockages I will coach you to remove or dissolve them.
Time Flexibility
A standard 50 minute therapy 'hour' is over in no time. I offer longer sessions to make your visit as valuable as possible. I offer flexible appointment times from 8am to 7pm. We meet online so you can do therapy from wherever is most convenient to you.

Key details

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I'm on the ground floor. There are some low steps without ramps so I may need to give you a hand but between us we can make it happen.
