About me

I am offering sessions face to face, online and by telephone.

Counselling and psychotherapy are talking therapies based on a confidential relationship with a trained person, who can support you to explore the difficulties and possibilities in your life. I offer a safe and confidential space and as an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor  I draw on my training and experience of a variety of approaches to build an approach that suits you. Working creatively with you and the things you may want to address in your life I look to understand and support you as we explore your current situation, looking to the future as well as difficulties or patterns which may arise from your past. We may also explore more practical ways to help you manage day to day.

It is important for to get a sense of a therapist and to find someone you feel you can work with. If you are looking please get in touch by email at shamashtherapies@gmail.com, for a 10-15 minute call to discuss your needs 07957 449 754 or arrange an initial meeting.

The first session, for which there is a charge of £50, will allow us to explore the issues you may want to look at in therapy and how I may be able to help. If you decide you would like to book further appointments we will agree a regular time to meet, usually weekly. Sometimes a simple problem will take a few weeks for us to work through together, or you may feel that you want to work longer term to address more complex concerns in more depth.

Subsequent sessions range between £60-£85 depending on time and location.

Lower cost places are available for students or those on a lower income.

If you have questions or would like to book an initial exploratory session please contact me via e-mail or phone and leave a message and I will get back to you.
