Rebecca Fairchild (BABCP Accredited)
I am a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and substantially experienced registered Mental Health Nurse. I hold post graduate qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Advanced Integrative Therapy. I practice Psychotherapy with clients with a range of difficulties including Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, relationship problems and Post Traumatic Stress. I have a special interest in Trauma and have expertise in helping people overcome the upsetting and traumatic incidents that are causing them distress in the here and now.
I am able to offer confidential, empathic sessions that are tailored to enable you to improve your psychological well being and help you overcome the obstacles preventing you from living a fully satisfying, contented life.
I believe in using an integrated approach to therapy, as there is no 'one size fits all'. I welcome you to attend for assessment so that we can meet to discuss your needs, as a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist I work collaboratively with clients to arrive at their personal goals.
Engaging in therapy is both challenging and liberating and I understand the emotional and financial commitment in this process. Following assessment, if you decide to take up therapy, sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly depending upon your situation.
