I am a chartered and registered clinical psychologist and an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) psychotherapist. I have been working in the NHS for over ten years, working with people of all ages and with a range of concerns and difficulties. As a clinical psychologist I am able to support individuals to have a better understanding of the difficulties that they have or may currently be experiencing. Therapy can help individuals to explore and utilise problem-solving skills, and this in turn can build on individual strengths.
I work using an integrative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic models (person centred counselling, mindfulness approaches) with a particular emphasis on cognitive behavioural therapeutic ideas. I take a flexible approach that is tailored to the needs of the individual. I value the individual as being the expert of their own lives and working collaboratively is central to my way of working. I endeavour to provide a space that allows clients to explore their difficulties in a safe, supportive, confidential and transparent environment
I offer support across a range of difficulties and I work with people who simply wish to use therapy as a tool for personal growth and increased self-awareness.

The initial assessment appointment will be 1½ hrs. Subsequent appointments 1 hour.
The initial assessment and subsequent sessions are priced at £90 for individuals and £110 for couples.
I have availability on weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends.
I am aware that it can be daunting starting therapy, and you may be uncertain about talking to a stranger. The first appointment is an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy and what your hopes and expectations are. At the end of the appointment I will share with you an initial understanding of the problem and explain the treatment options. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have. Attending an initial consultation does not commit you to ongoing therapy. Many people are unsure about starting therapy, and an initial appointment can help with making that decision.
