I believe that talking things through and being listened to can bring about positive change, at any age.
What is counselling?
Everybody goes through difficult life experiences. Sometimes these difficulties have been pushed under the carpet, or there’s been nobody to talk to about them. Counselling is talking about the things that are troubling you and having somebody really listen to you, non-judgementally and with interest and empathy.
What I offer
I offer confidential counselling for people with a range of issues and life experiences. I also offer bereavement counselling and was a volunteer counsellor with Cruse (Bereavement Agency) for five years. I have a positive outlook on life and am warm and down to earth. You can talk to me about anything, whether it’s your current situation that is troubling you or something that happened to you a long time ago.
Our counselling sessions take place in one of my counselling rooms. One of my rooms is in Redcliffe and the other is in Greenbank (Easton).
Counselling is once a week and each session lasts 50 minutes. Some people choose to come for a few sessions. Others find that, once they start to explore one area of their life, they feel ready to talk about other issues too.
