Rachel Harling RN, MNCS (Senior Accredited)
Wyre Forest District Council
Wyre Forest House
I have over 20 years experience providing therapeutic support to children, young people, adults and families under the NHS and in my own private practice.
As a Senior Accredited Counsellor, I have undergone extensive training, receiving excellent supervision and consultation from experts in the field. This, and the direct experience of working with young people, adults and families over many years has enabled me to build a very deep understanding of how to nurture and maintain a healthy mind.
When we find ourselves thinking or behaving in a way that gets us down, makes us stressed or just gets in the way of us feeling good about ourselves and our lives, it can sometimes be difficult to understand what’s going on and to know how best to make improvements.
Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, I can offer effective ways to help you feel happier by enabling you to develop a greater understanding of the links between your thoughts, your feelings and your behaviour.
I work with difficulties such as; anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, stress and self-harm with my specialist field being child and adolescent mental health and eating disorders across the age range. I provide supervision and consultancy to colleagues and teach on a regular basis.
Alongside the information here, if you visit my website, www.xenttian.co.uk, you can find out a little more about who I work with, my appointment availability, and other general information.
Why consider me?
It is very difficult to fully describe in words what I have to offer. To help you decide if I am the right person for you and can help you with what you need, please 'phone, text or drop me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.
