About me

Welcome to my page

There are times in our lives when we may need someone to talk to that is not a family member, partner or friend because we are having relationship issues or family issues. This can bring increased anxiety when we bottle things up.

Maybe you have been struggling with an affair or betrayal or the loss of a loved one and notice you are behaving in unhelpful ways that is not resolving your issues or causing harm to yourself or others. The pressures of work and bringing up children can also sometimes get us down. Past abuse can also cause us problems once we start to have families or build relationships of our own.

I am very experienced/fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and have been working with adults and young people since 2010. I run my own Private Practice and work privately within different companies.
Coming to counselling can be the start of feeling that your problems need not overcome you and is a sign of strength and a willingness to explore further into problems that may have been holding you back for a long time.
I specialise in relationship problems, family issues, sexual abuse, anxiety, children and young people and self harm.

It can be very difficult to contact a therapist for the first time especially if you have never been in therapy before so i can offer a £10 initial meeting so we can both decide if we would like to work together and I can answer any of your questions.

Other areas that I have worked effectively with are depression, low self esteem, Anger management, stress and personal development.

I offer a comfortable confidential space within the Woolwell centre.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at the Iron Mill Institute 2007-2010 and completed a BACP Accredited Advanced Diploma. I then continued to complete a Diploma in Therapeutic work with Children and Adolescents with the Iron Mill.

I am a registered member of the BACP and work within there ethical framework and continue my professional development attending workshops and relevant training.

I am DBS checked.

I have previously worked at Relate, the Zone, Plymouth college of Art, Quiet Minds in Exmouth.
