Profile
Are you feeling isolated and lonely with life's challenges? Do you need someone to talk to? Some one who can help guide you along your path, or help you explore different avenues along the way. Counselling/Psychotherapy is an opportunity for you to explore the hidden depths of your worries with an non-judgemental therapist in confidence.
Counselling and psychotherapy has the potential to heal and reduce our suffering.
Becoming aware of how we operate in this world is key to what holds us back from many opportunities and possibilities, unleashes our true potential and helps us to live life with more ease and comfort.
What people bring to the session varies and each case is unique. The counsellor/psychotherapist listens at a deep level without judgement and works along side the client to unravel the issues that are restricting their health and growth.
Mindfulness informs my practice. Focusing on feelings that are activated in times of stress can offer great insight into how we 'do' ourselves.
How I work.
The core of my practice is a humanistic and mindfulness approach with compassion and empathy. We agree an appointed time and place. One hour per week. The first meeting helps us to decide if we want to work together. Thereafter we will focus on what you as client wishes to bring. Every relationship is unique therefore sessions will progress according to the needs of the individual.
I offer short term work from 6 to 12 weeks. I also offer longer term work this is open ended. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
My room is a very pleasant and private environment offering clients a good space to work in.
I practice in Wilcot, approx 1 mile from Pewsey, 6 miles from Malborough & Devizes, 14 from Swindon.
