Philip Bailey, UKCP registered psychotherapist
I have worked a lot with clients who are affected by the loss of someone close or who have been caught up in tragic events such as major accidents, war or terrorist attacks. I have also provided counselling support for witnesses and others at the Public Enquiry into the 7th July bombings as part of the support provided by 7th July Assistance Centre with whom I worked. The rememberance of the issue may continue to affect your life and you may want to work through some of these painful experiences to seek relief and to get some balance back. I can help you to look at these things and together we can work through what is affecting you. Often this allows you to make sense of things and also to begin to see some relief from the affects.
I offer a free first appointment. You experience what it's like and how this is for you. We will talk about practical things too like cost, confidentiality and how many sessions might be appropriate. Then you can choose whether you want to continue.
My training as a counsellor and a psychotherapist has covered different approaches to therapy and I work with the approaches that I feel will be best.
My counselling room is in Aston Clinton about 3 miles south east of Aylesbury, just off the A41. This is close to towns such as Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville, Wendover, Tring, Thame and the villages in between.
Parking in is available on Green End Street.
Bus routes: From Aylesbury include numbers 500, 501, 164 and 61.
