Do you have worries about a child or young person?
I am a consultant in child & adolescent psychotherapy, trained at the Scottish Institute of Human Relations, Edinburgh and the Tavistock & Portman Clinic London, and have 30 years experience of working with children, adolescents and parents, in NHS Child & Family Services and in independent practice. I am available at short notice, to offer my experience and expertise with care and consideration to help you and your family.
The Parent and Child Support Service is an independent consultation and therapy service for parents and carers in Northumberland, Newcastle & Gateshead, who are concerned about their child’s emotional, behavioural or relationship difficulties.
The service specialises in helping parents, children and young people to better understand complicated feelings and to improve difficult relationships and emotional wellbeing. I provide advice and support for parents as well as short and longer-term psychotherapy for children and young people.
