About me
“Understanding why I do what I do” is a common thread running through a lot of my client work. I offer a non judgmental safe space for clients to explore their sexuality and sexual behaviors whatever they may be. Working towards a positive and fulfilling sexual future which is right for you as an individual or for you and your partner/s.
Practicing in Uppingham, I am a person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of, ATSAC (Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity) and COSRT (College Of Sexual and Relationship Therapy). I am also STOPSO trained (Stop Sexual Offending).
I work with individuals and couples who want to engage with their sexuality and sensuality to create a positive fulfilling and exciting sexual future. Kink friendly.
I also work with individuals and couples who are affected by sex addiction/compulsivity behaviours and internet pornography, as well as other psychosexual and relationship issues.
I work in a person-centred way, which means our work is entirely designed around your situation and needs whether you are single, in a traditional monogamous relationship or in a non-traditional relationship. I aim to provide the type and pace of support which will be right for you, which includes drawing on other approaches and therapeutic tools when appropriate. My work is founded on building a therapeutic relationship where respect, warmth and trust develop, so you feel confident and safe to open up about the issues you are dealing with. By exploring and understanding what may lie behind the issues, a different way of being can emerge.

COSRT is the UK’s leading membership organisation for therapists specialising in sexual and relationship issues.
All members must abide by their Code of Ethics and the performance of accredited members is regularly monitored.
The Association for Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC) is the leading UK organisation providing hope, information, support, and treatment options for those affected by sexual addiction and compulsivity.
ATSAC sets standards of practice for qualified therapists and provides accreditation for specialist training courses. A therapist who has gone through ATSAC recognised training will have the knowledge to respect and work with you sensitively to find out how best to support your needs.
Therapy options may include one-to-one sessions, group work, and/or relationship counselling. ATSAC is a not-for-profit organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
