Hello and thank you for visiting my profile page
Counselling is a powerful yet gentle way to bring about the positive changes that you desire..
I am a mature, experienced Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist and know that life can sometimes be very difficult. It may be something that you are recently going through or something in our past that is stopping you from being happy and reaching your potential. These issues can exacerbate feelings of depression, anxiety and hopelessness.
I've worked in many different settings including mental health charities, church based settings and private practice. I work in schools with both staff and children.
I enjoy working with couples who are having relationship problems and it's been a privilege to help them with this. If your think your relationship is worth saving, then your half way there.
Until recently I had the privilege of teaching counsellors in an education establishment, and have now resigned to concentrate of my practice.
If you work on the assumption that we're 'here' once', I believe that we should make the most of our lives. Now is the time to get yourself to a place in your life where you are happy, content and ready to move on.
I work from two settings, one in Westhoughton and the other in Tyldesley, so between us I'm sure we can arrange a suitable venue.
My method of counselling is integrative, which basically means that I use various techniques and interventions depending on you and the issue you bring to counselling. One method of counselling does not 'fit all' and I will bespoke my methods to suit you.
Why strive and struggle alone? I won't judge you and you can be guaranteed of my commitment and a deep level of empathy.
Please take a look at my charges below noting that I give concessions to pensioners, ex servicemen and students. I offer an free half hour consultation.
