Paula Tierney BA (Hons) MA MBACP
Did you know...
One in four people have mental health issues in the UK. One fifth of people believe it is to do with a 'lack of self discipline' or 'willpower'.
Stigma is a big reason not to go for help.
What is going to stop you?
Think about it? After all this is your mental health, and its precious. The mind does not have an automatic immune system, unlike the body, it is unprotected.
I offer counselling in a safe and confidential setting including:
- Short and long-term work
- Non-judgemental environment
- One-on-one therapy
- Flexible times
I work with a diverse range of clients. Consequently I use different aspects of my training to achieve the right formula. You are unique, and you need a unique therapeutic interaction.
What do I do next?
If you are interested it is possible to arrange a session. Please email me and we can arrange a initial free meeting. If you feel I am the right practioner for you , I look forward to working together.

Some of the reasons individuals may seekcounselling:
- Unmet needs.
- Feeling hopeless.
- Anger, rage or deep frustration.
- Unfulfilling marriage/relationships.
- Lack of life purpose and direction.
- Life crisis.
