Paula Cook Registered MBACP
If you are going through a difficult time at the moment and you are struggling to cope with your worries or situation and you need someone to talk to, then counselling may help.
I am an experienced Person-Centered Counsellor and I am able to offer you a safe and confidential place to talk. I will listen to you, support you and work with you towards improving your emotional well-being.
I fully appreciate just how hard talking about painful feelings and experiences can be and so will provide a warm, safe space for you, with no pressure to talk about anything until you feel ready to do so.
Counselling can be helpful for many different issues in life – some of which include stress, anxiety, worry, relationship concerns, depression, self-harm, bereavement. Any type of issues can be brought to counselling, there is no right or wrong - it is whatever you feel you need help and support with.
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues and can offer counselling in two locations - CHORLEY and SOUTHPORT. You may find it beneficial to meet me for an initial session - we can talk about what is troubling you, look at how counselling may be able to help you and it is an opportunity for you to see if I am the right counsellor for you. Initial sessions are £20 and subsequent counselling sessions are £35.
If you have any questions or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Many thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
