I am a male counsellor who will be working from Kings Hill, West Malling and Barham Nr Canterbury where you can find a peaceful setting within the Holisticentre, founded by Angela Oakes, (www.theholisticentre.uk) and relax knowing you can trust a counsellor that works by the BACP code of ethics. Within this beautiful discreet and peaceful setting you'll find yourself in the grounds of the once home of Lord Kitchener where, after your counselling session are free to visit the wonderful house and take time over a coffee or take a walk in the gardens. I love this location for the calming influence before you even start your therapy. Visit the link and Take a look. My practice at Kings Hill, although not boasting a mansion and tranquil gardens, does offer a confidential and professional setting where you can be truly listened to with no judgement just clarity and honesty.
I work with individuals in one to one personal counselling. I can help you to bring greater awareness to your internal emotions, giving insight into the cause of current sufferings and conflicts. We will look at your current thought patterns and how these lead to actions in your life, be it negative or positive connotations.
It is essential for you to feel safe and comfortable with your counsellor to gain a more meaningful insight and develop your inner validation. Strengthening your inner validation may be the key to problems with anxiety and depression. Through this we are able to look at what anxiety is and what it means to you personally.
Ample free parking is available in each location, so you don't have to worry about loose change or finding a space.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in therapeutic counselling and trained as a Humanist counsellor. This ethos is grounded in the belief that everyone has the ability to grow and reach their potential given the right conditions. We often spend our lives living up to someone elses expectations and judgements according to their perceptions, taking away our sense of selves. I aim to create an environment where you can reconnect and restore your inner core. I am a registered member of the BACP. (www.bacp.co.uk) Reg number; 191760
My life experience took me on the path to counselling and I decided to undertake my studies to become qualified in 2012. Prior to qualification my employment has involved high stress situations in pressured environments giving me a unique and special perspective on the drama of life and its seeming ability to take control from you and change direction.

Counselling may be the tool you need to explore, learn and ultimately make positive changes to your life.
I am dedicated to counselling. The very act inspires every session. The basis of my work is Humanistic. I want to hear your story, to listen to your perspective of how you see yourself in this world. My aim is to build a trusting environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
It can be the hardest thing, sometimes, to find what you're looking for or even to find who you are but counselling can give that opportunity for you to hear your own words and be listened to in a confidential setting.
