It can be very daunting searching for a counsellor who can fit your needs and then taking the next step to actually contact them. Perhaps I can help by explaining what I do.
I am an experienced counsellor, supporting adults, couples and young people. I am able to help you in many areas including:
- relationship difficulties
- family and workplace issues
- and coping with life's problems in general.
I have had specialist training in Stress management and Trauma counselling which includes understanding and treating Post Trauma Stress disorder. If you need to learn to relax, then I may be able to help you there, too.
My approach is Integrative - meaning I use several therapeutic models in my work depending on the problems you present. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred Counselling, and Transactional Analysis to name a few.
I believe in supporting you through difficult times and I am available by phone or email between sessions.
I have worked as a counsellor for many years in schools, colleges, industry and GP surgeries. I have also taught on Counselling courses and I supervise other counsellors. Now I concentrate on working in Private Practice from home.
My premises are easily accessible being within 10 minutes of Junction 2 of the M42 and the Redditch areas.
Your next step is simply to telephone or email me and we can arrange an appointment to suit you.
