In my experience, there are often times when, no matter how many people we have around us offering support and advice, we can still feel very much alone. At times like these it can be helpful to talk to someone who is not immediately involved. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive, therapeutic space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings with someone whom acknowledges the need for confidentiality and non-judgemental support. Someone who may be able to assist you in gaining a new perspective that could help you to see things in a way which feels more manageable. I will work with whatever you choose to bring to each session which may vary depending on what else is going on in your life at the time because life can easily get in the way sometimes. My clinical experience includes a number of years as a "http://www.cruse.org.uk Cruse bereavement volunteer (which included 5 years working in a prison context providing counselling support to prisoners and staff) and Life Changes Counselling in Southampton "http://www.lifechangescounselling.org.uk" with whom I worked with a diverse client group presenting with a huge variety of issues. I trained as a therapist as I believe that counselling should be available to everyone.
