About me

Please note that I am not at present taking on new clients.

You may be experiencing difficulty in your life which disrupts your ability to function, or inhibits you from forming and maintaining close relationships.  You may be troubled, distressed, unfulfilled, confused or overwhelmed. You may be curious about your own history and want help with working through any distressing patterns of behaviour that stand between you and the life you want

In our work together I encourage reflection and enquiry into your own responses to your difficulties. The aim is to develop greater awareness, fostered by mindful attention to your physical, emotional and psychological states. You can then discover how to open more fully to your present experiences, your strengths and needs. This enables you to make choices and move towards a deeper understanding and acceptance of yourself and others as well as increase your capacity to witness your own distress. These are some of the principles of Core Process psychotherapy.

Core Process psychotherapy is an approach based on a deep understanding of human personality and potential. Its theoretical foundations bring together Buddhist psychology, mindfulness practices and western psychodynamic and psychotherapeutic approaches.

I work from my home in London SE21 with individual clients over the age of 18.
