  I believe that counselling can help us overcome our feelings of doubt and confusion, anxiety and depression by giving us a clearer understanding of why we feel like this: We can then  begin to see how we can change the way we think or make a start in coming to terms with a loss and bereavement, confusion and self doubt - once the problem is recognised we can work through it in a safe place giving ourselves the freedom to move on towards a more fulfilling future:  Sometimes childhood experiences can hold us back and life changing events such as divorce, bereavement and loss can make us feel uncertain and confused which can lead to anxiety, depression, low self- esteem and confidence problems: By understanding why we are experiencing these difficulties we can start to overcome them: I can offer one to one counselling in a confidential and non - judgemental enviroment, staying with you as you work through your feelings. I offer short term or long term counselling according to the clients wishes:

Each appointment is for one hour with the first appointment to assess if counselling is the appropriate help for you: 

I have a special interest and experience in counselling people who have problems with alcohol and drug misuse. I can offer counselling for this and for relatives and friends that are affected by someones drinking.

I currently counsel for the NHS where I work wiith patients that have been referred by their GP for counselling  covering a wide range of problems.
